just a "little" change from how I worked things on Monday:
Berserk magic gives an automatic augment of +1/4 the ability's rating (as compared to the normal automatic augment of +1/10). However, the berserker is in a blind rage, and in an extended contest must always bid at least 1/2 his remaining advantage points each round. Once all foes have been vanquished, will turn on his friends. Any attempts to calm the berserker will take a penalty of 1/4 the berserk rating.

complete defeat means several things:
Long term effects
can't be fixed without specialized skills or magic
(for example, a healer's Heal Hurt won't do, though it might prevent death. To improve a dying character's condition the healer needs the Heal Dying magic. This is quite rare, and has a higher difficulty.)
Also, attempts to do something with a completely defeated hero except care for them delicately results in worsening conditions. So, the party can't just tie you to your llama and ride off to Pavis to find a healer for you. That would kill you.

So if heal the hurt was applied that would stabilize Garusharp so that they could tie him to his Llama for the trip to Pavis?????

Heal Hurt or equivalent might prevent Garusharp from dying. But it won't stabilize him enough to endure a difficult overland trip.

Using Praxian Survival skills, with help from the survival skills of 100? 50? 25? Bullock Brother praxians left, what does Oshun think the best way to primarly stablilize Garusharp, and secondarily to heal him? Do praxian warriors have the attitude that real men don't carry healing spirits? If so, Oshun is yelling "Medic!"
as far as the beserk thingy...i think at the next to last axe swing of Speth's, she had approx 430 ap's. So with those rules she would have had to bid around 215 - wow. That is a HUMONGOUS amount of ap with tons of implications for a single hero AND (very important 'and') her friends! Cause we ain't got no Chalana Arroy with us. That means Speth starts swinging at US with all that AP! So, Oshun feels that someone should privately ask Speth if the whole beserker thingy shouldn't be avoided until we get some 'calm beserker' skill or something. Since Garusharp is almost dead, I think he should be the one.

I understand that Speth went running after some fleeing foes. Perhaps when she runs out of opponents out on the plains she can recover on her own. Meanwhile, if G. is conscious, some Pavic evangelist may be able to convince him to accept the city (and founding Godguy) at least to the point where hecan be considered an honerary citizen for all his help in securing the first harp string...

I save my berserk 'moments' when there are MANY foes to vanquish, so that it is nigh impossible to run out of heads to cleave that don't deserve it.
I always end up chasing after the retreating foes, which gives me space and time to calm down.

Waha worshippers (not most zebra riders) are forbidden healing magic, just as Eirithans are forbidden combat magic.
There is enough First Aid and minor healing magic to stabilize Garusharp. But moving him by any mundane means risks his life. He is, in medical terms "critical but stable" having lost a great deal of blood from due to a horrible knife wound to the kidney.

So this is where Garusharp slips in and out of delirium...He sees beautiful hareem girls tending him (do not get to close Oshun) and then he sees horrible chaos tax accountants checking his filings! He whispers about Thanatari hairdressers and then wonders where he can purchase pool filters in the Praxian waste. :?
