Common Worlds

The Rass game is the story of a family that has broken an ancient curse, struggled out of the ruins of their own past to rediscover their rightful place and power in a broken city attempting to do the same. This takes place in a conquered place filled with oppression, injustice and opportunity, against the broader canvas of coming conflicts that every prophet believes will either destroy or remake the world, or both.  Empires reach to new heights, rebels foment desperate resistance, everyone reaches for ancient or new powers from this or other worlds. Traditionalists warn of the need to stay to the old ways to preserve their way of life, while radicals warn that the world is different and people must change. Terrible, world-changing events are bound to come, as they have roughly every 500 years. They're a hundred years overdue.
