Cleansing Leap HeroQuest

The Rass siblings and Barlo, the newly appointed Protector of the Rass, went looking for members of the river cult they could ask about breaking the last condition of the curse. "the River reaching the tower's top."

As they were related to the Ingilli clan, they first sought advice there. But instead of a bustling Rich Hill manor filled with the comings and goings of a busy mercantile house, the Rass found the Ingilli manor locked and guarded. The guards were friendly enough, and all members of the household guards for the river lords. Each of the guards bore a blue and green ribbon tied to an arm, and were happy to give directions to the Rass. In fact, they seemed almost to have been expecting the group.

Following the directions from the guards, the Rass made their way through Riverside to the River Gate, noticing that while the rest of the city seemed normal, Riverside was all but empty. Down at the edge of the river, where on a normal day a dozen boats would be pushing off or tying up, loading or unloading, only a single small boat sat.

This session focused on preparing for the Cleansing Leap Heroquest.

When the heroes reached the floating temple barge, Fasasch the Deep, Priest of Zola Fel quizzed them from the deck, looking down at them:

Are you blood of the water?
Are you here out of duty and love?
Will you sacrifice your lives for that duty, for that love?

Revered Animah, Priestess of Zola Fel is ill, manifesting chaos infestation.
Chinschar the Diver (of the Ingilli) acts as central figure for the quest.
