I've set up the Pavis Defeats Thog heroquest as a "book" on this site. Anyone with a membership to the site can log in and alter the text. The quest needs lots of fleshing out, so have at! If you aren't comfortable with adding formatting, then just add the straight text and I'll format it.

Any member is welcome to add their own quest outline here, for others to help flesh out.

White Baboon Betrays the Monkey People A story from the Praxian Baboon people, on how the world was broken and why it is all the fault of the White Fur Thief. Red Baboon and White Monkey were brothers. Don't ask how, in those days stranger things could have the same mother and father. They were twin brothers who ruled the Monkey Kingdom, and it was good because Red Baboon had the Ruling Stick that made sure everyone knew what to do and why. White Monkey was the younger brother, and he wanted a way to show he was as good as his older brother, the Red Baboon King.  Senikras was naked, but he was sly.

A trickster calling himself King DickFace attacked.  Barlo let him in past the manor defenses by swooping down and saving him from a crowd of locals intent on lynching him.  He wore nothing but a collection of filthy ladies handkerchiefs.  Single-handedly, he took out Barlo, Boomer and his guards and nearly got Senech before Senech called on the ancestors and made Dickface flee.

As should become obvious, this recap is written from the standpoint of Barlo Ofun, Pavis native and Vanganthi Devotee, also sworn to be the Protector of the Rass and more specifically, Gilli.

Now, now let Orlanth fill my lungs and the clear voice of Issaries convey my words as I tell you the Quest of Vanganth and the Cleansing Leap! 

Investigating his father's effects, Gil discovered that much of the family's wealth over the past 20 years had gone to paying for divinations at the Pavis temple. These were the most notable and understandable results recorded by Drozal and found by Gil.

I saw a great dragon give birth to a clutch of many eggs. From these eggs came other dragons, men, beasts, countries and peoples. Then the Lone Man drew his pieces together, and with those pieces achieved a new vision of old, good things reborn. He planted this vision and it grew tall strong--and enemies. It grew enemies and those enemies came, and came and came; wave on wave of violence, discord and death; atrocities and murder, cruelty and blood. Finally a great balck cloud came and the vision was buried under cannibalism and callousness.
