Heroforming

Heroforming is becoming a manifestation of the god you worship. Few cults teach it, those who do teach little else, and it is usually a Secret.
Resistance in HQ2 was 1W. The skill of Heroform [god] is required. You can't improvise hero forming.
Results depend on level of success:
Complete: 100% bonus to skills the hero and the god both possess.
Major: 50%.
Minor: 10% bonus
Marginal: +1
Tie or any defeat: no effect, possible rating reduction.
Vogarth, for example has the skills of Work Hard, Honest, Strong and Slow Witted.

It seems that the Pavis Heros do not know this secret. Of course, hero-questing seems to help them manifest their diety, but they still do not get 100% or 50% bonuses of their shared skills. Is Varu the only one who belongs to a cult that teaches heroform (God)?
pretty much
Heroforming is a primitive method of manifesting a god compared to the use of feats and affinities. It is much more limited than the powers granted by more powerful, developed gods. Gods whose cults teach it generally teach it because they can't teach much else.
Neither Pavis nor Babeester Gor teach heroforming.
