Why didn't anyone tell me about Firefly sooner? What a great show!
I stayed up until 2 a.m. watching the first 3 episodes..oops
Was Buffy like this?
oh well..at least we have the movie coming out in a few months.

Buffy was...different.
Same sort of humor. Different themes.
But the same ability to twist the Same Old Scene into something unexpected. Like the opening of the series, where a cute little blonde thing is being lured up to the roof of the high school late at night for a make out session with an older boy. We all know this is a horror action show, and expect that he is really Something Bad.
"Are you sure no one will find us here?" she asked, seemingly worried that someone might see them with his hand inside her letter sweater.
"Nah, there's no one around at all this time of night."
"Good." Then she turns around and bites his throat out, revealing her horrific vampire face.
I have seasons 1-4 on DVD if you'd like to borrow them. Cheaper than PPV porn in your hotel room!
