I'm basing this on Thief, but changing a bit.
Abilities: Evaluate Temple Defenses, Hide, Mythology of [culture], Hero World Survival, Recognize Magical Value, Word in the Temples.
Specialist Abilities: Climb, Move Quietly
Typical Personality Traits: Bold, Dismissive, Observant, Greedy, Foolhardy.
Typical Relationships: To priests, to buyers, to gang.
Typical follower: Lookout, patsy, decoy
What do you think? This actually has more skills than "Thief."

I like those. for typical personality traits I like Unrepenting. "I pilfer the homes of Gods...pious condemnations are poor shackles to use upon me". Also, when trying to create the Temple Raider character, I envisioned a follower who is an architect type...what do they call those guys who provide maps and layouts or assist with floorplans of the joint to be robbed?

Unrepentant seems good to me too. I'd say you get Unrepentant or Dismissive.
