The Five Winds Gang and meeting the locals
While on their way elsewhere (was it while heading to the Temple Barge prior to the Cleansing Leap Quest, or later, when going to establish the worship of the Swan Son of the Mistress of Reeds among the river people?) the Rass traveled into a running fight between a bandit orlanthi gang called the Five Winds and some Lunars. Burraska White had a broken leg and couldn't escape effectively.
The Rass convinced one Anaz Calkerdotter to open her door to her underground home just in time to hide the Five Winds there before they might be discovered by the Lunars. Most Trusted Ammuz first discovered the hidden entrance, and his respectful words convinced the bug eater to open up.
The Five Winds were grateful for this later, and developed friendly relations with some of the Rass.
Some time after this, Cam and Croly were called back to the same area to banish a ghost. That ghost turned out to be Anaz's husband. Anaz was now a 19 year old widow with four children.
