Westerly Turn

So, as I mentioned at the conclusion of last night's game, I strongly encourage discussion and consensus regarding what you're going to do in the next session.

Some preview of your intent (or--shocker--some actual attempt to get something done between Mondays here on the web site) will go a long way toward speeding up next week's session.

You may, if you choose to, assume that you have done one or more of the following:

searched the whole House of Westerly Breezes
Made it back to the House of Two Pools
Gathered everyone at the Tavern of Nine Marble Steps
High-tailed it into the jungle to hide

I really have no idea what direction you guys intend.

Overlooked option:

Street of Veils

-Well, really!

Home

If Garusharp can drag Chen and Khalsa along, he will spy on the comings and goings of his own house. Garusharp will warn Erani and Hope that she notifies Neari that we delt with the Thanitari. We must meet to decide what to do next.
Should I tell The rule of governance about the Thanitari?
Can someone do a better job at contacting Jalamyria, I sure can't?
We need to know how long until Jalamyria sends back the new KSK?

You're asking the other characters, right?

With a bit of time, a calmer surrounding and perhaps the aid of your other band members, you can try it again. As a trained spy, you would expect that time is now of the essence, however. It probably won't take long for any larger organization the cook, groom and clerk belonged to to notice that their membership has dropped.

The fact that you now know about them, but they don't know you know is the biggest advantage you have. Because once they do know, Garusharp knows that the Thanatari won't try to kill you politely. They'll poison your elephant, kidnap Erani, consume the mind of a servant just to learn your schedule, and then they'll come after you in an thousand horrible ways, without the convenient scheduling of Fire Day appointments or concern about upsetting the Great Lords of the region you happen to be visiting.

Alas, Dass left you no way to contact him, and he clearly intended to contact you at the House of Westerly Breezes.

Too bad no one you know is good at finding people who don't want to be found. If you had the help of someone like the Invisible Pillar, you'd probably want them to start at the Great Doored House of Foreign Rice Women.

Westerly Turn

"Since my amazingly successfull use of sorcery at the house went so well, I suggest a scry to help determine our next course of action" says Khalsa.

"Um...what do we want to see?"

Xhen's Plan -- revealed!

Xhen is going to steal any grooming stuff he can use from the stable.

When we get back to 2 Pools, he'll offer to do all the most odious parts of elephant maintenance in exchange for learning the rest (particularly elephant noises and verbal & nonverbal commands).

(Perform menial tasks, + Speak Your Language augmented by wealth)

He wants to buy a skill in Elephants.

Oh, I'm sorry, were we talking about something else?

In the END

All this buying skills is for nothing 'cause in the end we are going to be tortured and die with our heads cut off...thought I would cheer everybody up about our prospects tonight, right Khalsa???

Actually it's disembowling and being eaten alive...you keep your head.

How about a scry into who sent these three thanatari to come after Garusharp?

I need some kind of copper bowl or brazier.

Stable and house

Along with stable gear, there are several horses, goats, pigs, an old parrot and a small elephant, aside from any you brought here.

Also farm cart and a palanquin, not too fancy.

Further, the house it self has not been burned down.

it is for nothing

Has the world ended or have the writers of this blog all dried up and blown away? Weren't we supposed to do homework while Mike was away? I say kill them all and let the flame seperate them out.

Still here

I'm still here and even checked the site while I was in Florida.

buncha slackers, I say.

"what you talkin bout willis???"

While you were gone I...

- Got 7 more writs of injustice against me
- Stole the Golden Flayed Soles of Shipratha from the shrine of the
Sun Walkers
- Found out the the Abode of the Musky Palms wasn't a temple
ripe with treasure, but instead a gay bath house (I don't care
what you heard, I really was there trying to rob the place  )
- Used my Temple Raider skills to recon the Great Doored house
of Foreign rice women (cause we need to GET IN THERE! hint hint)
- discovered that if I heat the Urn of the Unctious over a flame, the
volume of oil in it increases slightly with no reduction in
consistency. especially the love oils.
